The Mission:Dignity program is funded entirely with voluntary gifts from individuals, churches, and organizations. Cash gifts of any amount will be accepted, as well as a qualified charitable distribution from a participant or caller’s IRA.
Donations to Mission:Dignity can be made by donating online, mailing a check, or donation through an online withdrawal.
To donate through the website:
- Visit GuideStone.org and select “Get Involved” under the “Mission:Dignity” tab.
- Click the “Donate Now” button.
- A new page will appear and allow a donor to register for either a one-time gift or recurring monthly donation.
- The donor will receive an email confirmation immediately after donating.
To donate by check:
- Make check payable to GuideStone Financial Resources with Mission:Dignity in the memo line
- Mail to:

To donate through the withdrawal tool (If you are a GuideStone member):
- Access online withdrawal tool on MyGuideStone© portal.
- Complete the required fields for withdrawal request.
- The page following the Delivery Method screen provides the option to donate from the withdrawal request amount (The donation amount will appear as a deduction on the withdrawal application).
- Participant will receive a mailed receipt within two weeks and a year-end statement for tax purposes if the donation is for $250.00 or more.
Below is more detailed information on donations to Mission:Dignity:
- Donors will make checks payable to GuideStone Financial Resources, designated for Mission:Dignity.
- 100% of the money given goes directly to retirees in need.
- A donor can request that their contribution go toward a specific state, if notified on their check.
- Donors can have their monthly gift taken from their checking or savings account instead of having to send in a check. Donors can choose either the 6th or the 22nd for ACH draft, and they will receive confirmation each month of their gift.
